I have a SMART board in my classroom, but last year I had an Active board. I loved it and got so used to the Active board. I found myself disappointed with the SMART board this year, and therefore don't use it much expect for projecting a rubric or a stopwatch. What is an activity you use to get your students involved with the SMART board? I need something more than circling in the only 4 colors of markers...
Nicole, What type of activities did you use with your Active board? There is a website (which I will get back to you on) on EduTech (sendit accounts) that has many different SMART board lessons for all grades.
I do not have a SMART board nor have I ever used one. I have seen them in teachers rooms but no one has shared with me the benefits. I teach Earth Science so I was wondering how I could use this in my room if I ever get my hands on one.
